This thread needed a new post, I think... so here goes.

ONS maps could be easily modified for a new MM mode.  Let's call it "Pop goes the Dummy".

The idea is pretty simple - I suspected the mode existed or was suggested here, didn't spot it in a quick browse, though;

A dummy spawns in a random node - the server announces which node it was spawned in.
Teams spawn in their bases - or perhaps players spawn near random nodes (but not the one dummy is in)... should average out to fairness over time.
Each team rushes toward that node and attempts to kill the dummy.
Damage dealt by a player counts toward their / their teams points.
Optionally, the final kill gets a few extra points.
While trying to kill the dummy, it would obviously be advantageous to keep enemies away from it (by killing them).
After the dummy is killed, a new one spawns in a random node.  So at this point, if the dummy is close to dead, it would be advantageous to have team members positioned somewhere where they can more quickly navigate their way to wherever it gets spawned.
Limit by time or number of dummy spawns.

Could be played single player, but would be significantly more boring.

First, thanks for the suggestion. I'd appreciate and add it if someone scripted this. For myself, I'm a little soldat sick what comes to bigger implementations..
